Little rabbit Pipkin lived on a grassy hill. Across a wide, blue river, his friends lived on their own hills. Pipkin wanted to play, but the river was too big to cross.

Seeing his friend was sad, Bruno the bear had an idea. He took one of his reddest berries and tossed it into the river. Plink! It floated in the water, a little red dot.

Soon, there was a line of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple floating across the water. It looked like a rainbow! Pipkin hopped carefully onto the bridge.
